Another special day came and went. Did it leave a mark this time? Mine did.
I placed a call from the west coast – my location – to the east coast – my dad’s location – at about 7:30AM. Dad was home, he’s recuperating from surgery. At age 83, he’s still brilliant to converse with. Thanks dad.
One of my sons took me out to the ball-game. I love doing that. I received text messages, e-mails, and calls from all the boys. I liked that too. I even received a book about one of the most successful burger joints known to man. It is a good read so far. You can try to guess what it is by placing a comment in response to this blog.
I spent a few hours in the House of my Heavenly Father. That was really grand. All the dads received a lollipop. Get it, lolli-POP.
One other thing. This year for Father’s Day, I gave my children a gift. As a dad, I just had to say thanks for being such good sons. Thanks for loving each other and for loving the Lord God.
Yea, this one left a mark.
